Sobekosuchidae - The Bear-Crocodiles
Where one can compare the Adamosuchids to our wolves and pack-hunting cats, and the Ubersuchids to the mighty Theropod dinosaurs, you can easily draw up comparisons between Sobekosuchids and the bears and tigers of our timelines. Excepting of course the fact that they are much larger, much stronger, much more heavily armoured and horribly beweaponed, and even more likely to tear you apart. They are a very cosmopolitant group, found from as far south as Argentina and Cape Horn, to as north as Svalbard, though none live on the Arctic pack ice.
