Younginiformes
A strange order of diapsid reptiles, often resembling lizards, found across most of the warmer regions of the world, taking up many of the roles taken up by lizards and small mammals found in our world. Aquatic species that first appeared in the Permian were later edged out by Thalattosaurs, but some species evolved into an appearance superficially similar to HE's snakes; these are the Ophioformes or Serpents
